Birth Track Continuous Labour Monitoring

The two major indicators of labour progression are the measurement of cervical dilation and the descent of the fetal head. Currently the measurements are obtained digitally as requested and can be full of operator errors. Therefore this may lead to clinical decisions which are based on inaccurate data.

Birth Track provides continual measurement through out the active process of labour, measuring cervical dilation and the descent of the fetal head. Both parameters are graphically represented on the light weight monitor.

Birth Track is based on disposable ultrasound technology with sensors placed on the abdomen, cervix and fetal head which are graphically displayed on the monitor in real time. The measurements are accurate allowing better labour management and clinical decisions to be made.
