Third Antares Chosen By Hillingdon Trust For Ergonomics

A new ACUSON Antares ultrasound system is helping staff in the Ante-Natal department of Hillingdon Hospital in Middlesex to cope with the increased demand for obstetric investigations.

Staff have been very pleased with the two existing Antares systems currently used for abdominal and vascular examinations at sister hospital, Mount Vernon in Northwood, and the other for obstetrics at Hillingdon Hospital. Fiona Bottomley, Supt Sonographer, commented: “We find the Antares particularly beneficial for our larger, more difficult to scan patients. The systems are very much liked by the teams because of their ease of use and excellent ergonomics.”
