ACUSON S2000 – Enhancing Prenatal Cardiac Diagnosis

The ACUSON S2000 from Siemens is a comprehensive ultrasound solution providing superior imaging of the Foetal anatomy in 2D and 3D/4D acquisitions. The system highlights Foetal heart Spatio-Temporal Image Correlation (STIC). This technique enables an automated acquisition of a high quality foetal heart volume using a sophisticated algorithm that compensates for variability in heart rate.

Multi-planar reformatted images are easily obtained for detailed anatomical evaluation, with industry exclusive real-time heart rate display and preview mode to improve workflow. STIC is fully compatibility with syngo Velocity Vector Imaging technology, a dynamic 2D method to visualise, measure and display global and regional myocardial motion and mechanics.

Both anatomical and functional images are available for review in multiple planes, increasing the accuracy of prenatal cardiac defect diagnosis.

The ACUSON S2000 also offers excellent Doppler imaging and workflow solutions such as Auto Ob measurements. Further information can be obtained by visiting www.siemens.com/ultrasound
