W H Bence to showcase digital mammography on the move at Symposium Mammographicum

At this year’s Symposium Mammographicum, mobile vehicle and trailer specialists W H Bence Coachworks will be showcasing its latest digital breast screening trailer at the Arena and Convention Centre in Liverpool, 11-13 July 2010.

As the UK’s market leader for mobile breast screening units, W H Bence has extensive experience in creating high quality, bespoke facilities to serve the NHS and independent healthcare providers. Visitors will meet representatives and view the demonstrator trailer designed to meet patient and clinical needs.

“Creating the ideal mobile imaging space means working to the specific needs of the digital imaging equipment, the mammographer and the patient, “states Oliver Brown, Sales Director at W H Bence Coachworks. “We are looking forward to taking the mobile breast screening trailer to Symposium Mammographicum and highlighting how comfortable interiors and innovative structural designs can complement the delivery of breast care.”

Medical imaging systems on the move require both insulation and vibration reduction to ensure safe transportation and the best image generation. Structural basics such as an integrated power supply and sound proofing are standard, with flexibility in the design of patient reception areas, consultation and changing rooms.
