Author
Virginia Jordan, Library Assistant, Education and Training Centre Library, Countess of Chester Hospital, Chester.
Virginia Jordan decided to move to England from Spain in 2003. Her career had always been focused on the tourism sector, but she found her fortune as a library assistant position, since 2004, at the Education and Training Centre Library in the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Her keen interest in research and knowledge as an iPhone user, together with the actual need for a comprehensive guide of apps for health professionals, were the perfect combination to take on the initiative and compile an app guide, once more generally for clinical and non-clinical staff, which since then through popular demand has become more specialised, in this case to cater for obstetrics and gynaecology professionals.
