An open access knowledge platform from The Global Health Network and the Family Larsson Rosenquist Foundation (FLRF) has launched.
The Global Health Network and FLRF created LactaHub to enable health professionals, decision makers and researchers to be more effective in their daily work. The platform features scientific and evidence-based information on breastfeeding and breast milk for health professionals.
LactaHub is where scientific and evidence-based knowledge about breastfeeding and breast milk will be brought together in a structured, practice-oriented manner.
All content will be reviewed and verified for quality by an independent scientific editorial board, and made freely available.
LactaHub aims to become a thriving community of practice in the field of breastfeeding by:
- Ensuring equal access to the best guidance and knowledge available, in one central location
- Simplifying the search for objective information that has been independently verified
- Opening new channels for knowledge transfer among health professionals—without physical or financial borders
