ELA- Electronically, Illuminating Amnioscope

ELA is a completely self contained Amnioscope which provides a shadow-free light source right in your hand!

This is achieved by ELA containing its very own LED light inside, all that is required is the removal of the obutrator which automatically switches the light on. When you have finished collecting the sample replace the obutrator, to switch the light off. You can then keep ELA in a clinically clean resting place until required again – although ELA is for single patient use, it can however be used for multiple collection of samples.

Using ELA means that there is no need for any additional light source or external power. All the light you need is the 155 mm long ELA that you can hold in one hand.
